Bye Bye, India

This is the last picture I took, on the way to the airport, on August 15. Six years almost to the day after I landed in India for the first time (we arrived on August 18, 2004.)

As you drive, you suddenly come upon all these statues waving at you. Perfect, right?

More to come, as I slowly settle into our new life in Bangladesh and also find my way back to this blog, which I have neglected lately.

Katia I was worrying about you, wondering how you were and how the move was going, so I'm very glad to read this post today. I love that photo of the waving statues! I hope you settle in well and you know I hope you're back to writing, when the time is right for that.

Thank you, thank you ! It's been a crazy summer, and now, I have some hectic weeks ahead of me, as we search for an apartment, move in and camp while waiting for our shipment (all my books are in boxes, in a container, shudder) receive our shipment, unpack, etc, etc. But it's exciting. A new place to discover - and India is only a short 45 mns flight away.
